Jill's passion for motorsports was first sparked while watching her father compete at Northeast drag strips. She became a permanent fixture in his garage by age three, retrieving wrenches, cleaning parts and bringing cups of coffee. His dedication, passion and impressive trophy shelf left a lasting impression on young Jill, forming her into the competitive, winning professional that she is today. She started riding motorcycles at five years old and collecting her own trophies won from many Track, District, State, Regional and National Championships.

A nationwide search was conducted in late 2007 for the new driver of the "Queen of Diamonds". More than 80 applications were reviewed by Hanna Motorsports and Jill's qualifications and experience put her at the top of the pack. "Jill is a pro and a natural to be on our team."

Jill has many years of racing experience. This experience includes Motorcycle Racing (AMA Flat Track & NHRA Drag Racing), NHRA Bracket Drag Racing (Auto), SCCA Solo 2 & Road Racing, Micro Sprint Racing, Midget Car Racing (ARDC) and Professional Monster Truck Racing (driving the WRENCHEAD.com sponsored monster truck for Live Nation).

Rodney Fazekas "Eastern Raider Nostalgia BB/FC" Celebrity

Rodney Fazekas Eastern Raider Nostalgia BB/FC Rodney Fazekas "Eastern Raider Nostalgia BB/FC"

Visit The Official Rodney Fazekas Eastern Raider Nostalgia BB/FC Website Here www.rodseasternraiderfunnycar.com

In the Fall of 2009, Rodney Fazekas found and became the proud new owner of Al Hanna's 1980 Eastern Raider Nitro Funny Car. After spending 30 years in cold storage, the Eastern Raider needed a total ground-up restoration. The original 1980 body, paint, chassis, rear and many other original components were saved, making it an undisputed "museum quality" piece of Drag Racing History.

Most of the meticulous restoration was done by Rod and Doug Bari at Rod's Custom Fabrications of Pottstown, PA., which is ironically close to many of the drag strips that Hanna ran throughout the 60's, 70's and 80's. Today, Rodney campaigns his Eastern Raider Nostalgia BB/FC on many of the very same tracks. Fazekas is not only the team owner, but also drives his latest masterpiece.

After many years as a custom car builder, race car fabricator and crew member with Hanna Motorsports Jet Cars, he is now following his passion by becoming a professional drag racer. What Rod enjoys most is creating "NEW History" and lasting memories for his fans, friends and family.

The entire Eastern Raider Team is passionate about racing and includes The Fazekas Brothers, Denny, Doug, Pearl, Roger, Holly and main squeeze, Jill. Also, they receive support from the Hanna Family, S&W Race Cars, Simpson Race Products, Jersey Girl Tie Downs, the Hine Family and Stroud Safety.

We started setting our own goals and have been reaching them with determination, motivation, and hard work, traveling up and down the east coast running NHRA Events and Super Chevy Shows and other events. It’s been a wild ride ever since.

Through the years we've done multiple upgrades to The Broken Arrow's chassis to stay competitive in this sport. In 2011 we ran exhibitions at Maple Grove Raceway and had the quickest run so far 6.84's @ 199.84 mph. Read More About Broken Arrow Racing and John Gentry Here

George Reidnauer: Excalibur Nostalgia Funny Car

George Reidnauer: Excalibur Nostalgia Funny Car George Reidnauer

The Excalibur Funny Car is powered by a 526 c.i. Keith Black Hemi. Induction comes from a Littlefield hi-helix blower that sits on top. The chassis is an original Ken Cox. The car was run as a fuel altered in the mid to late 70's when the car was known as the Blind Fatih. It was in 1979 that the Corvette body that is on it now was run. The car was only run for a couple of years and then sold. That owner really never did anything with the car for 25 years until I purchased it from him in the summer of 2007. At that point, I had S&W Race Cars of Spring City, PA do all the work and upgrade the chassis to certify for 6 second elapsed times.

My passion for owning a funny car started when I bought the original China Syndrome from Al Hoffman. I restored the car with help from my step father, but also from Al and Susie (Al's wife). That car was just a show car, never to be run down the 1/4 mile. I wasn't content with just showing a car, I had the need for speed and wanted to drive!! That is when I purchased the Blind Faith car. After Al passed away, I decided to paint the Excalibur identical to the car that he ran at the 1997 Gatornationals. That is what you see today. This is my tribute to what I believe to be the best funny car driver ever... Al Hoffman.

Stop by and see the car up close at the show. I will be on hand personally to answer any questions that you might have along with my great crew... Bill Hodgson, my crew chief, Lou Sgro, my tuner, Andrew Jones, my super crew guy, and of course, the ladies and back up girls, Rhonda Reidnauer and Pam Hardy! And after the show, come see us run at the track and support nostalgia racing... The way it used to be!!
