What is the NorthEast Cup and the Elite 6? This award package was created to recognize the creativity, engineering, workmanship, and also the "appeal" that each car has within our Show Class. Each car within the Show Class will be judged under the highest scrutiny using guidelines that have long been used to judge a vehicle.
In addition to the above mentioned guidelines, we have some rules that must be followed each year.Only cars shown for the first time in the Philadelphia market will be eligible for this award. The vehicle must be able to operate under its own power (i.e. - start, turn, drive, stop) prior to being put in its display area. This is something that will be looked at and incorporated in to the judging guidelines. The Show Class will be narrowed down to 6 finalists, making up the Elite 6 presented by Street Vizions. Due to the number of vehicles that will be registered for our Show Class, the judging and elimination process will begin on Thursday evening and completed on Friday evening. The Elite 6 presented by Street Vizions finalists will be announced on Saturday morning of the show. All vehicles registered for the Show Class and not chosen for the Elite 6 presented by Street Vizions will then compete for cash and awards already set in place by the NorthEast Rod and Custom Nationals  If an entry is selected as a NorthEast Cup contender and Elite 6 finalist, the entry will not be valid for any class awards. However, each of the Elite 6 entries will receive a cash award of $2000. They will also receive a custom made Elite 6 presented by Street Vizions award, a custom made Elite 6 winner’s sticker, and a custom embroidered jacket.There will be an Elite 6 presented by Street Vizions finalists meeting on Saturday (time to be announced) for all finalists to meet each other and the NorthEast Rod and Custom Nationals staff. This meeting will be an opportunity for vehicle owners/builders to get to know each other and our staff. Our staff will also question each owner/builder about their specific vehicle. The NorthEast Cup presented by Full House Motorsports LLC is a one-of-a-kind custom, hand made award designed and built by Rob Ida from www.robidaconcepts.com. The winner of this award will receive an additional $8000 cash award (making the total purse $10,000), a NorthEast Cup custom embroidered winner's jacket, custom made NorthEast Cup winner's sticker, and the NorthEast Cup. This awards package will be known as the most prestigious award to be won on the East Coast for many years to come.
